Cemetery events and walks

For events organised by other groups using the cemetery and chapel see Events offered by external groups.

Guided walks:

All walks are on Sundays and start from the Gatehouse at 2.00pm unless otherwise stated.

There is a charge per head of £2.50 for adults (£1 for members of the Friends of York Cemetery), and £1 for children.

Tours for groups – day or evening - available by arrangement. For more information, contact The Friends of York Cemetery on 01904 620279.

Please check times & dates of all events.
All daytime walks start from the Gatehouse and last 1½ - 2 hours.
£2.50 for adults, £1 for Friends and £1 for children, including tea/coffee and biscuits.
20 tickets only for each ticket event, no reductions. Tickets can be purchased from the Gatehouse.
If not a ticket event, then just turn up and enjoy!
