York cemetery is on Cemetery Road, near the city centre of York. Cemetery Road is off the A19.

Directions

From the South: Take the A19 exit off of the A64 ring road. Head north approx. two miles. Cemetery Road bears off to the right, signposted 'District Hospital'. York Cemetery is on your right.

From the North: Follow the A19 onto Shipton Road (signposted 'York Centre'). At Bootham Bar, turn right onto St Leonard's Place (signposted 'Station'). At the traffic signals, turn right onto Museum Street (A1036, signposted 'Inner Ring Road'). Cross Lendal Bridge; turn left onto Rougier Street (B1227). At the end, turn left onto Bridge Street. Cross the Ouse Bridge and bear right onto Tower Street (A1036). Keep in the left hand lane, and then continue forward (signposted 'Inner Ring Road, District Hospital'). Cross a small bridge (the Travelodge Hotel is on your left). Keeping the city walls on your left, bear right onto Fishergate and then turn left immediately onto Kent Street. At the traffic signals (with Kent Street car park on your right), turn right onto Cemetery Road. York Cemetery is on your left.
